Start with one page

WebToSpark 1.2.0 is a developer preview for Chrome 116 or newer. Install the unpacked extension, open a page, and export to Downloads. Node.js is not required for ordinary exports.

Understand your files

Markdown is useful for reading and notes. JSON preserves structured records. CSV is useful for tables and further processing. Images and videos remain source URLs; the extension does not archive their media files.

Build a local workflow

Pro adds local research packets and directory save targets. Research packets collect evidence and prompts without making AI calls. The separate experimental Research Agent is off by default and is deferred as a finished product.

Know the boundary

Ordinary export reads the currently loaded DOM. It does not scroll, crawl, paginate, expand comments or authenticate. A saved page can therefore be partial, especially in virtualized feeds. Check the output before treating it as a complete source.

Choose a format for the next task, then inspect the saved data locally before processing it. These guides explain structures, spreadsheet imports and practical limits.
